Lead Data Analytics, Innovation & Model Management Officer

Providing expertise in data analytics, innovation and model management to enhance compliance reporting, automate processes, develop proof-of-concepts and ensure governance and regulatory adherence.

Regulatory Reporting | Risk Assessment:

Prepare and report compliance metrics to Combined U.S. Operations team (CUSO) for USRC and CMC metrics. Define definitions for metrics.
Lead the BSA/AML risk assessment annual review for the Federal Reserve, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Lead the reporting team to provide Corporate Investment Banking and Securities metrics to CUSO for the US Reporting Committee.
Executed controls for the BSA/AML risk assessment.
Performed UAT and executed controls for the GRC tool developed by a third-party vendor to manage governance, risk, and compliance.
Prepare monthly global market division (GMD) reports for different metrics captured by the compliance department.

Development and Automation:

Develop Proof of Concept (POC) projects to automate daily tasks for internal teams using Python, Knime, Alteryx, and SQL.
Designed and implemented automation for six+ daily tasks, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Developed a compliance toolkit using Python Flask with numerous productivity tools, including:
- Excel sheet comparison.
- Steps recorder for automated process documentation.
- Web scraper.
- Text-to-voice for French-speaking employees.
Developed various automated processes using Python, Knime/Alteryx, and SQL:
- Automated training email notifications.
- CMT ETS HR daily reconciliation.
- GWL daily process runs.
- Surveillance report automations for off-market corporate bonds, Reg S, and mark-up/mark-down analysis.
Developed dashboards using Power BI for various stakeholders, leading to presentations with the Executive Committee (ExCo).

Desktop Procedures:

Develop and document procedures for governance and data projects to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Authored over 10 procedure documents for data reporting to CUSO.
Wrote multiple desktop procedures for:
- USRC reporting.
- CMC reporting.
- SMCR.
- MRMC thresholds.
- Deployed tools.
Lead compliance UAT for the deployment of the STARCompliance Tool and worked in sync with the third-party vendor.
Lead the Model Risk Management Committee with the Head Office in defining thresholds and action plans for breaches.
Lead the synchronization and update of the Share Drive for the Compliance Department to align with regulatory requirements.
Created and managed the metric dictionary for Corporate Compliance.
